Commercial Photographer Testimonials

What’s it like to work with Bobbi Barbarich?

Promotional photo for Power by You: Crossfit West Kootenay

Bobbi Barbarich has made a noticeable impact on my social media and online presence. The Premium Package was perfect for us. As our commercial photographer, Bobbi shoots our regular CrossFit and Functional Body Building classes, live events and competitions. She captures the pure and raw emotion at every event. Creative, unique and eye catching. Her style is like none other and I would highly recommend her services.

Bobbi has followed our story for the last 3 years and we feel like the luckiest people to have met her. Our latest project has been extremely rewarding and we are thrilled to have Bobbi document the experience – building a net-zero house and our company’s brand, with consistent, technically savvy and original photography… I am awkward in front of a camera, but when someone can camouflage themselves while you work, you forget they are there and you can just be natural.

We have worked with Bobbi on two of our annual photo shoots. I was already familiar with her work and love how her photography brings out the humanity in people. We have four programs at the Community Food Centre and Bobbi managed to accommodate various locations and schedules. She is also a pro at being invisible—an important attribute when the flow/vibe of an event or gathering can’t be compromised. Bobbi’s work continues to attract interest and praise (who took your photographs!!!?!, people say…) and I look forward to working with her in the future.

I look forward to any opportunity I can to hire Bobbi. She has this uncanny way of making every occasion look stunningly special. She is able to convey the joy and experience thru her images all while making her subjects forget they are getting their photo taken. She is always professional and a dream to work with.

We have worked with Bobbi for both our family photographer and as our commercial photographer for many years now. Beyond being an absolute pleasure to work with on a personal level, Bobbi’s professional work shines on so many levels. Her photographs have captured precious memories of our children and portrayed a warm and professional atmosphere of our clinical space. She worked closely with our web designers to ensure pictures were appropriately placed and sized. Bobbi’s pictures are of those moments that you say to yourself…”I wish I had a picture of that!” … don’t worry because she has already taken that shot!

Closing night at Girl in the Wild teen adventure camp, 2019

We chose to work with commercial photographer Bobbi because it was clear from the start that this collaboration was predestined by the stars. From the first hello, it was clear that she was the kinda woman, the kinda photographer, the kinda creative that truly understood the essence of our organization and our mission and that you would honour it deeply through her work. It just made sense to choose her. Our expectations were mega high because we’d seen her work and were privy to her preparation process, too. Still, we cried our faces off at the end results out of pure love and  joy and gratitude. Reviewing the album for the first time was like relieving the experience—not simply visually but deeply with feeling. We could feel all the moments. And it was the greatest gift. Ever. She didn’t just come to take pictures. She came to expose us to your heart and soul. Fucking magic.
